What restricted admission means in practice
Restricted admission is not a quality rating. It describes limited access. The relevant selection threshold can vary by procedure, semester and applicant demand.
An older threshold is therefore only orientation. Current criteria may include school grades, tests, subject results or other factors defined by the procedure.

- Record the admission type and application route.
- Read current selection rules or criteria.
- Check deadlines, evidence and special procedures.
- Compare at least two academically suitable alternatives.

- the same programme at another location
- a related degree with a better module fit
- a dual or practice-oriented route
- vocational training or an orientation phase with a clear next plan
